The Broadcasting Agency has prepared the translation of the document “Public Service Broadcasting – Model Law”. The author of this document is Dr Werner Rumphorst, former Director of the Legal Department of European Broadcasting Union (EBU). By publishing this material, the Broadcasting Agency wishes to contribute to effective information of all interested parties about the practice and recommendations in the field of regulation
of the position, rights and obligations of the public service broadcasters.

The Agency also believes that this document could be useful during the consideration of feasibility of the solutions proposed by the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Public Broadcasting Services “Radio of Montenegro” and “Television of Montenegro”, which is currently subject to public debate.
